Fishing And Wildlife Trips

Fishing Trips and Wildlife cruises run daily throughout the day during the summer, depending on the weather and numbers.

If weather and sea conditions permit the boat is sometimes in the water as early as Easter and operates as far into September or October as conditions allow.

Jenny II and her skipper, Bryn are licensed to operate by the MCA (Maritime Coastguard Agency) The traditional fishing vessel design means that Jenny II is less of a threat to the wildlife than some vessels and Bryn has many years of experience along this beautiful coastline on Jenny II and other vessels so aims to maximise passenger enjoyment and not compromise the wildlife here.

Fishing Trips

If you fancy a little bit of boat fishing whilst you are visiting the Llyn, you can get a couple of hours aboard Jenny II and try to land some mackerel. You don’t need any experience or equipment, and the skipper will show you the basics. Take them home and barbecue your mackerel – a great end to your day!

Longer trips sometimes operate outside the peak holiday periods if you have a group of people (maximum 10) who would like to try a little more than mackerel fishing. Please enquire if you would like further information.

Wildlife Cruises

Jenny II operates in the calm sheltered waters off Abersoch with the magnificent backdrop of the St Tudwals islands and Snowdonia. These waters contain a wide variety of wonderful wildlife which you can enjoy during your visit to Pen Llyn, plenty of birds, seals and you may be lucky and see the dolphins in the bay. A wildlife trip on Jenny II is a great way to enjoy the wildlife in its natural environment.
